PRODUCT CARE
HARD CASES
OUTER SHELL
Dampen a soft cloth with warm water, wring out well and wipe the entire shell in circular motions. Wipe again with a clean damp cloth and dry immediately with a microfibre cloth to prevent water spots and corrosion on metal parts. Avoid using abrasive materials or sponges or chemicals which can damage the surface. After heavy water exposure, open and air-dry to remove all moisture.
INNER LINING
For small stains, spot clean using a damp cloth and mild soap and leave to air dry. Let the case dry fully before closing to prevent odour or mildew. Vacuum fabric lining when necessary.
SEALS, LOCKS AND HINGES
To maintain the precision and longevity of your case, gently clean locks and hinges with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Keep all moving parts free from dust and debris.
Avoid abrasive materials, harsh chemicals, or spraying liquids directly into mechanisms. If movement becomes stiff, apply a very small amount of silicone-based lubricant only.
Do not force or disassemble locks. For optimal performance, professional servicing is recommended.
PACKING CUBES AND SHOE BAGS
Hand wash recommended. Use cold or lukewarm water with mild detergent. Air dry only. Ensure cubes are completely dry before storing and store in a cool dry place. Avoid using bleach as it can weaken fabric and damage coatings. Avoid direct sunlight for long periods to prevent fading.
ESSENTIALS POD
Dampen a soft cloth with warm water, wring out well and wipe the bag in circular motions. Wipe again with a clean damp cloth and dry immediately with a microfibre cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials or sponges or chemicals which can damage the surface.
ZIPPER AND FABRIC CARE
Do not overstuff to maintain shape and zipper performance. Zip and unzip gently. If a zipper sticks, a small amount of zipper lubricant or graphite can help.
DAMAGE PREVENTION
- Use a luggage cover or wrap for flights
- Dont overpack - internal pressure stresses the shell and frame
- Lift instead of dragging over rough surfaces
- Avoid leaving the case in hot cars or direct sun for long periods
- Heat can warp polycarbonate slightly and fade finishes.
